Doll Face

Dolly is a beautiful Turkish Angora with a green and a blue eye.

She was picked up dumpster diving in Taylor, Texas, in 2003. She was transferred to The Austin Humane Society by Animal Control. When she arrived, she was dirty. Her fur was stained with motor oil. Her nose had no fur on it from digging in cans for food. She was examined to see if she had been spayed, and she had not. When the surgery was completed, it was reported that her uterus had a terrible infection and that she would have died with out the operation.

Her future mommy had just adopted a male Turkish Angora with odd eyes from Town Lake Animal Center, and she got a call from a friend in the AHS clinic that Dolly was a perfect match for her boy. Now Dolly lives in a historic building in Downtown Austin. Daddy is an artist and Mommy is now on staff at The Humane Society. She cleaned up quite nicely and her only problem now is keeping her girlish figure. Goofy brother, named Crazy Eyes Killer, keeps her on her toes and somewhat in shape by chasing her around the house like Pepe Le Peu.

Please tell all of your friends to have their pets spayed and neutered to avoid, not only pet overpopulation and unnecessary euthanasia, but also health problems associated with reproductive systems. Dolly is healthy and safe now, but almost lost her life to an infection that could have been avoided by sterilization.
