Benefit Concert

In May of 2005, the Austin Humane Society hosted its first benefit concert with legendary jazz musician BB King. This exciting fundraiser was a great success for the organization and helped raise additional funds that go to supporting the cats and dogs of Austin’s community shelter. Look for another benefit concert in the Spring of 2006!

2005 Telethon

The Austin Humane Society’s (AHS) 8th Annual Telethon Weekend was broadcast on K-EYE TV, CBS 42.

Our Annual Telethon was hosted by K-EYE TV news anchors, Fred Cantu and Judy Maggio. Steve Keys, Board President and Frances Jonon, Executive Director of the Austin Humane Society. They highlighted the many programs and services provided by the AHS that make our community a better place for people and companion animals.

Cartridges for Critters

The Austin Humane Society receives between $0.50 and $10.00 for name brand laser and ink jet printer cartridges that are donated to us. his program costs you nothing to participate! All name brand cartridges are refurbished by Megabyte Express for use so your donation is helping the environment and the animals! To donate your personal and/or business printer cartridges please contact Sara Milch: donations@austinhumanesociety.org at (512) 837-7985 ext. 224. She will assist you in providing pick-up or delivery arrangements for all of your toner cartridges

Adopt A Kennel

Our Adopt-a-Kennel program is a fabulous way to show your support for the Austin Humane Society, while at the same time helping to provide us with the resources we need to care for the thousands of homeless animals we receive each year. Please click here to find out more about this program.
