Dear Adoption Family, My name is Aspen. I am living in a foster home right now because I am a bit shy and it takes me some time to feel comfortable in a new environment. But if you let me explore and get to know you at my own pace, I could be the purr-fect addition to your family. I like to play with toys, especially a red laser light to chase and pretend mice by throwing them around. I also like to play tag with other cats and I love it when other cats chase me. I can be very vocal, and when my neck is scratched, I respond by meowing "more more more please". I do not like to be picked up and carried around. I will feel safe being an indoor cat in a home with windows where I can look outdoors. I am afraid of loud noises and will hide until I feel safe again. I love to eat wet kitty food and kitty snacks. I respond to lots of petting and stroking by purring loudly. If I don't want to be touched I will walk away.I don't need much-just a warm and friendly relaxed home.
