On August 19th, Austin Humane Society is teaming up with KXAN Television for a single day, free adoption event. AHS is one of the hundreds of shelters participating in this nationwide event sponsored by VIP Petcare and NBC Universal. Last year, Clear the Shelters helped find 50,000 animals their forever homes. All day, AHS will be offering free adoptions on all animals in hopes of truly clearing out the shelter. Click here for more information about the event.
