What To Do If You Find Kittens
This time of year, it is not uncommon to find stray kittens. However, before you scoop them up, you need to determine if their mother is around. She could have wandered off to hunt and it is important that kittens stay with their mother when possible because it is their best chance of survival.

Become a Foster! 
We are always in need of foster volunteers and with kitten season approaching, we need more than usual! If you're interested in saving the life of one of Austin's most vulnerable animals, please become a foster volunteer! Email our foster care department to sign up for orientation! The next scheduled orientation is Wednesday, April 10th from 5:30-6:30 pm here at AHS.
